AREVA T&D is currently seeking a SR Human Resource Generalist As a strategic business partner to management, this position performs Human Resources related duties and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, employment, affirmative action and compensation and benefits administration. The primary role of the Human Resource Generalist will include:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Partners with management to improve efficiency of operations to meet overall budget and quality objectives.

Administers various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual in partnership with management.

Develops and administers compensation programs; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career pathing program, writes and places advertisements.

Coaches management though complex and difficult issues.

Conducts organizational effectiveness assessments and recommends programs to address issues.

Handles employee relations issues, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Develops and maintain employee recognition programs

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this SR Human Resource Generalist opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (Masters perferred). 5-10 years experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment. Complete knowledge of HR laws and practices. Professional in Human resources (PHR) certification is preferred..
