Title: “Smart Logic Monitor” Programmer
Number of Positions: 1 temporary - 12 months
Location: Toronto, ON
Business Unit: Engineering & Construction Services - Standards & New Technology
General Accountabilities:
- The successful candidate is to take on a 12 month assignment to build a Windows based Smart Logic Monitor software module.
- Assist senior staff to test and debug the finished code with the in-house software development system
Selection Criteria:
- Requires knowledge of computer principles and applications of computing equipment, methods, systems analysis and design, data management, work simplification, communications and computer programming to enable creative logical reasoning in regard to the design and effective use of systems and databases, computer-programming activities, and related matters.
At least three year of work experience specialize in :
- Windows environment using MS Visual Studio C/C++
- RS232 serial communication programming
- Visual Studio development environment
- Requires good verbal and written communications skills to provide documentation of the programming changes and user manual.
