We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to accomplish engineering activities related to transmission, substation, SCADA and distribution systems to ensure continuity of service, efficient system operations and economical use of personnel, vehicles, equipment, materials and finances to facilitate accomplishment of the District's mission and goals.

Essential Job Functions: Plan, engineer, and design for the construction and maintenance of the District's transmission, distribution, substations and SCADA systems. Assist in short and long range planning for providing system capacity, service reliability and efficient operation of the transmission, distribution, substation system and SCADA systems. Maintain the District's PCB records, and oversee activities such as disposal and retro fill procedures. Plan, develop and administer contracts related to transmission, distribution, substation or SCADA system projects. Provide forecasts and other information to assist in the acquisition of transmission, distribution, substation or SCADA system project materials. Develop and maintain specifications for transmission, distribution, substation, SCADA and metering standards and materials. Maintain transmission, distribution, substation and SCADA system drawings and records and metering records. Maintain the District's hazardous waste records, and oversee training, compliance and disposal activities. Prepare SEPA applications and perform associated recordkeeping. Supervise, inspect and manage District construction projects.

Education, Experience and Training: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required; power option preferred.  Professional Engineer License required. Experience in wood pole transmission line design, construction, and maintenance is required. Experience in substation design and maintenance is required.
