Location: Brunswick Nuclear Plant, Southport, NC

Responsible for developing new and revising existing plant procedures which support maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Development of new procedures and revisions to existing procedures.
2. Review of engineering changes to identify procedure impact and department impact.
3. Technical review of proposed procedure revisions to ensure writers guide and discipline user needs are met.
4. Safety evaluation and review of procedure revisions to meet REG-NGGC-0010 and 10CFR 50.59 screening and evaluation requirements.
5. Participation in self assessment and benchmarking activities associated with procedure writing, use and related discipline work.
6. Use of Passport software to process procedure revisions.

Qualifications:
Position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 - 7 years like-work experience. Four years of like-work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree, or combination of education and like-work experience totaling 9+ years.

Senior Position requires 4 years writing procedures or equivalent and having attained full qualification at the discipline. Example: Senior Mechanic. 1 year of experience processing documents in WORD software
