Major Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Achieves 100% of Sales Incentive Plan targets for revenue through penetration into existing accounts and through generation of net new customers.
- Develops sales strategy for generating new opportunities, utilizing the sales support and marketing resources available at Envision.
- Acts as a customer advocate internally, building long term relationships with key decision makers and acting as the single point of contact on all Sales matters for each customer.
- Functions well in a small team environment with the ability to be flexible and creative in accomplishing desired outcomes on behalf of customer.
- Meets revenue and account objectives, designs sales strategy, and structures account development plans accordingly.
- Performs market, competition, product and service opportunity analysis in the development of sales strategy.
- Responsibility to update Sales Forecasts and Sales Funnel Pipeline weekly and collect applicable compensation documentation on a quarterly basis.
- Capable of preparing professional sales documents like proposals and responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Develops contacts within the business community in order to expand the client base.
- Ensures client needs are identified, understood and met by maintaining continuous contact in the marketplace.
- Maintain an awareness and knowledge of competitors’ strategies, providing that feedback internally to enhance Envision’s positioning in the market place
- Promotes a positive corporate image of Envision by ensuring that appropriate and specified standards are maintained in all sales, support and service delivery activities.
- Ensures proactive communication strategy is utilized which keeps clients informed of new products, services and issues.
- Effectively engages appropriate technical support with customers and prospects to accomplish complete client satisfaction in design of solution and meeting customer’s overall needs. .
- Manages an expense budget in an effective and efficient manner.
Education Required:
University degree in Commerce, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of five years recent business-to-business telecommunications sales experience in the Calgary market. ( Will consider IT sales experience )
- Ability to develop professional and effective sales approaches in a competitive business environment, particularly cold calling.
- Expert knowledge of the business telecommunications environment, the competitors and their products and services is required.
- This position requires the ability to meet sales targets in a competitive environment while establishing and maintaining superior business relationships.
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sales Management software is required.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent knowledge of business telecommunications products and services is required.
